Quill is an interactive platform that guides students through an interactive process of drafting a college essay. I set out to empower users to independently Brainstorm, Structure, and Draft a college essay, using an intuitive interface.
For this project, I conducted competitor research, designed the application UX, built the application using a no-code platform, wrote the website copy, and conducted user testing during live calls.
Landing page copy set an encouraging, concise tone to prepare users for the essay-drafting journey.
Quill’s user journey began with the 6 prompts offered by the Common App, and accepted by most colleges.
I sub-divided each of the 6 major prompt into simpler, more approachable steps, allowing users to easily navigate building a narrative.
